Facilities and Amenities

The Arnold Palmer Signature Course at Bay Creek opened in June 2001 and has been chosen the "86th Greatest Course in America" according to Golf Digest. In addition, the same magazine picked Arnold's design as the "7th Best Course in Virginia" and Golf Magazine named the Palmer Course one of "The Top Ten You Can Play" in May 2002.

The Jack Nicklaus Signature Course opened in October 2005. Jack was personally involved in the planning and shaping of each hole and the results are truly spectacular! Breathtaking views of the Chesapeake Bay and Old Plantation Creek and acres of natural dunes highlight Jack's design. The two courses share our world class, 425 yard practice range with 8 bunkered target greens as well as a short game practice area with large chipping and putting greens.

Bay Creek offers the latest technology on its golf cars with the ProLink GPS system. The hands free 10" monitor in each car acts as a professional caddie and automatically presents a detailed graphic of each hole as the car moves about the course. Golfers can instantly access the yardage to the daily pin placement, send messages to the pro shop and order food and beverages from their golf car.

The Coach House building is home to the Bay Creek Golf Shop which offers state of the art golf equipment and Mens and Ladies golf and casual attire as well as the Coach House Tavern, serving delicious food and beverages at reasonable prices. PGA Professionals are available for private and group lessons and custom club fitting.

There are a lot of exciting additions in store for Bay Creek Members in the future. Sports Memberships are now available along with Full Golf Memberships. The Sports category includes only limited golf privileges but does offer access to the future Beach Club, Cabana Yacht Club, Fitness Club and Tennis Club. The beautiful, two-story Aqua restaurant is now open and boat slips are now available for rent at the Bay Creek Marina.

Golf Club Rates

Bay Creek Golf Club is currently open to the public at the rates shown below which include green fees, carts, taxes, practice balls and Pro-Link GPS. Tee times may be reserved up to 7 days in advance. Junior rates apply to golfers age 17 and under, Senior rates are for those age 60 and over.

Tees and Fairways

Tifway Bermuda and Tifsport Bermuda grass April through November over seeded with Perennial Ryegrass December to March.

Greens

A-4 Bent Grass. Typical green speed, 9-12.

Practice Facilities

Bay Creek features a 425-yard practice range with grass tees and target greens as well as a large putting green and practice bunkers.

Directions to Course

From the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, take the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (Route 13) to Cape Charles . Turn left at the first traffic light on Route 184. Continue ½ mile and turn left on Parsons Circle . Turn right on Old Cape Charles Road and continue 1 mile to the Bay Creek entrance on the left.

Restrictions and Courtesies

Shoes: Soft Spikes are mandatory.

Dress Code: Appropriate golf attire is required at all times. T-shirts, tank tops, denim jeans, swim wear, sweatpants, short shorts and cut-offs are not permitted.

Cell Phones/Pagers: Permitted.

Alcohol: Beer is available on the course. Only food and beverages purchased from the Club are permitted; personal coolers are not allowed.

Pro Shop

The Bay Creek Golf Shop offers golf and casual attire from top designers like Adidas, Bobby Jones, Callaway, Greg Norman, Ahead, Liz Golf, Arnold Palmer, Foot-Joy, Oakley, Nicklaus, Nike, Tommy Bahama and many others. PGA Professionals are available for golf lessons and custom club fitting for Callaway, Ping, Nike, Taylor-Made and Titleist golf clubs.

Golf Carts

Bay Creek employs a fleet of 2007 E-Z-Go TXT Electric carts with canopy tops, folding windshields, sweater baskets, sand bottles and the Pro-Link GPS system.

Visitor Green Fees
